Our music service works in collaboration with several organisations in and around Nottingham. By supporting each other’s initiatives, we can widen participation in arts and culture, improving access to services for young people across the city.

Music Mark
Nottingham Music Hub is proud to be a Music Mark member. Music Mark advocates for a Government supported, high quality music education provision for all school aged children and young people. It aligns with our mission of providing a music education that has values of diversity, equity and inclusion at its core.
BeatFeet
BeatFeet provide drumming, dance, well-being workshops and events for businesses, schools and communities. They bring the heart of global musical cultures to teams, classrooms and communities all over the UK.
Proud partners of Nottingham Music Service since September 2021, BeatFeet offer Early Years music making provision and performances of their musical theatre piece, A Party in the Rainforest, as well as exciting group hand drumming workshops for young learners. These sessions are available for all schools in Nottingham.
OHMI Trust
The One-Handed Musical Instrument (OHMI) Trust pioneers the development and adaptation of musical instruments for people who are physically disabled. OHMI’s objective is to remove the barriers to music-making so as to enable full and undifferentiated participation in musical life.
Partnering with The OHMI Trust, the Nottingham Music Hub and other organisations, the First Access Programme was launched by Creative United in 2019 to enable disabled children to participate fully in Whole Class Ensemble Tuition (WCET).
MishMash Productions
MishMash’s mission is to introduce every child in the UK (no matter their socio-economic background) to live classical music via experiences where they feel welcome, and where they can enjoy and engage with the music. Alongside performing in theatres and concert venues, MishMash tour their productions to schools & libraries using pop-up sets to transform familiar spaces.
Making Tracks
Based around the twin themes of musical traditions and the natural world, Making Tracks brings together eight exceptional musicians each year to showcase diverse music and initiate new collaborations during a two-week residency and two-week tour. They bring together exceptional emerging artists and more experienced musicians deserving of wider recognition.
Creative United
Creative United is a company committed to supporting the growth and development of the arts and creative industries. They work with partners across the public and private sectors to design and deliver programmes that enable economic growth and social impact.
Nottingham Schools Trust
The Nottingham Schools Trust is a collaborative partnership focusing on improving education for the children of Nottingham. The Trust offers a unique opportunity to bring together all types of schools including maintained primary, special schools and academies.
